The Guyana Police Force (GPF) yesterday asked the public to assist them in identifying a man who was fatally shot during a confrontation with the police on Saturday April 2, 2011 at ‘B’ Field Sophia, Greater Georgetown, when the police responded to a report of break and enter. Anyone with information that can assist with the identification of the man is asked to contact the police on telephone numbers 225-6411, 229-2700 to 2702, 229-2289, 229-2557, 225-8196, 911 or the nearest police station.
