MENTION is made of Mr. Freddie Kissoon’s article in the Kaieteur News of Friday, March 04, 2011. Mr. Kissoon, in referring to a conversation he had with the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Guyana, Dr. Prem Misir, which in my opinion is very disrespectful in the way he wrote about Dr. Misir.
Dr. Prem Misir is a scholar in his own right; the man has a Doctorate! What does Mr. Kissoon have to compare to that? This man and his whole anti-government barrage try to mislead this nation with their constant criticisms and untruths.
It is the same set of vagabonds like Kissoon who blast this government. They constantly attack the President and government ministers in the media, claiming that there is no freedom of speech in Guyana. Yet they are allowed to do this over and over.
Mr. Kissoon claims to be a learned individual but it seems like he traded his brains for stupidity and ignorance because he doesn’t seem to understand fundamental issues and he uses every opportunity to convince the public that he is suffering from attention deficit.
Throughout the article, Freddie referred to Dr. Misir as being incompetent. Again I say that this is disrespectful in the highest order and Mr. Kissoon should apologise publicly to Dr. Misir. Dr. Misir should demand this apology. That man is the Pro-Chancellor of the University of Guyana, an institution for which Mr. Kissoon works as a lecturer.
Mr. Kissoon, in my opinion, is a bitter and sour pessimist who needs more than deliverance and maybe needs to go back to school and be taught political etiquette and professional courtesy, as well as how to be patriotic as a citizen of a multi-cultural society.
For the record, I must state that there has been no better government to run the affairs of this county than the PPP/C.
Mr. Kissoon, you have no other option than to digest this and live with it!
Freddie Kissoon lacks political etiquette
