A GUYANA Power & Light (GPL) internal security guard has been charged with receiving stolen property.
Delmark Parris (no address given) appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry yesterday when it was alleged that, on February 4, he received a Republic Bank cheque for $1.5M, property of Amernauth Muneshwar, knowing it to have been stolen.
The defendant was put on $250,000 bail until April 13.
