MAYBE I am writing in a Utopian vacuum but nevertheless, I sincerely feel that all the present vilifiers of the Government, including the political parties, should be given the opportunity to run  Guyana unfettered for one (1) week. It would, in all probability, take this motley crowd more than a month of wrangling and infighting to get themselves in some semblance of order so as to iron out who would be President and Prime Minister.
They should all then sit as Actuals and not Shadows, in their specific portfolios and PERFORM or GET OUT.
The late Forbes Burnham once offered a friend of mine to sit in his seat for one day and make any decision with all his unlimited presidential powers but, with the sole proviso, ‘don’t lock me up in jail’.
That stipulation should remain, lest the wranglers spitefully lock up the legitimate Government of our beloved Guyana.
