…thanks supporters for their sentiments
HEAD of the Presidential Secretariat and Cabinet Secretary Dr.Roger Luncheon yesterday held his first post-Cabinet media briefing since falling ill and being hospitalised towards the end of last month. Using a cane to walk, Dr. Luncheon came to the Credentials Room where he held his press conference to bring to the public’s attention what Cabinet discussed at its meeting on Tuesday.
Luncheon was on the morning of Friday January 28 admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital after complaining of back pains.
After a series of tests, Dr. Luncheon’s condition was listed as stable and he was expected to be discharged early.
“I would like to use this opportunity to welcome myself back at work and to acknowledge the sentiments expressed by vast masses of friends, colleagues, families and other Guyanese that contributed in no mean way to my soon return to office. I thank them for their sentiments,” he said during yesterday’s press conference.
