Wanted bulletin out for assailant

Quamina Street attempted murder…
FOLLOWING the shooting late Wednesday of two women on Quamina Street here in the city, police yesterday issued a wanted bulletin for the assailant, Malvin Raymond Taylor.
Reputedly a former presidential guard, Taylor, 33, is wanted for questioning in the attempted murder of his wife, Sharon Taylor, 30, and her sister, 19-year-old Michelle Richards around 22:00hrs on Wednesday outside a Quamina Street guesthouse.
Richards was reportedly shot in the face and Taylor in the chest and groin. According to eyewitnesses, about nine shots in all were fired.
One of them, who asked not to be named, told this newspaper that he was standing some distance away when he heard what sounded like squibs, but after hearing the women scream, realized that the popping sound he’d heard were actually gunshots.
He also saw ‘the shooter’ flee the scene in a motorcar, heading east on Quamina Street.
The Police are asking persons with information that may lead to Taylor’s arrest to contact them on telephone numbers: 226-7065, 225-6940 to 2, 226-1326, 225-6411, 911 or at the nearest police station.
All information, they say, will be treated with strict confidence.
Taylor, whose last known address is 222 Da Silva Street, Newton, Kitty, is of mixed race, medium built, and brown in complexion.
