DENISE Munroe (no address given) was yesterday ordered to post $50,000 bail, pending sentence, on February 18, for malicious damage to property.
She appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-Beharry and pleaded guilty to having, on January 25, unlawfully and maliciously damaged the windscreen and the rear glass window of a motor car, valued a total of $66,000, property of Kwamie Damon.
The defendant admitted damaging the vehicle parts and said she did so out of frustration.
She sad she had been married to the virtual complainant for 14 years and endured a very abusive marriage.
Munroe said she became frustrated, that day, because she was not allowed to speak to her children, as her ex-husband and his family are claiming that she is of unsound mind.
The magistrate ordered a probation report on the defendant. (Nathalene DeFreitas)
