THE cell-phone company, Digicel (Guyana), yesterday officially launched its ‘Mashramani 2011 Band’ of colourful costumes at its headquarters at Fort and Barrack Streets, Kingston. Public Relations Manager, Shonnet Moore, told reporters that the theme this year is ‘Royalty’, and that the concept is a reflection of how Digicel treats its customers.
Not only does the company treat customers like royalty, Moore said, but it’s also committed to offering ‘first world’ services to its Guyanese clients and will always continue to do so.
Five models (three women and two men) showed off the costumes of red, gold, white and mauve designed by Olympia Small-Sonaram as they took to the stage, gyrating to several popular soca songs, including ones sung by local artistes, Jumo Primo and Adrian Dutchin.
The launch ended with Company Sponsorship Manager, Gavin Hope, calling on members of the public to get on board with the ‘Bigger, Better Network’.
