At Herstelling…
– in alleged love triangle feud
DOCTORS at the Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) were last night battling to save the life of a 17-year-old girl who allegedly ingested rat poison at Herstelling late yesterday afternoon. She was rushed to the Regional Hospital at Diamond where she was given initial treatment, before being transferred to the Georgetown Public Hospital.
Unconfirmed reports are that the teen was having problems with her boyfriend who was ‘seeing’ another girl. A source said that the girl’s rival would often call her on the phone, laugh at her and say unpleasant things to her. Despite this, the boyfriend never gave her any satisfaction when she told him about it.
Frustrated, the teen reportedly went to the boy’s home where she confronted him then ingested a packet of rat poison.
Police are investigating.
