In assault case…
RUSELL Forte, of Lot 37 North Sophia, Greater Georgetown, appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Priya Sewnarine-
Beharry yesterday, charged with unlawfully assaulting Denise Bailey. The defendant pleaded not guilty to the January 19 offence allegedly committed on his landlady.
Forte was released on self-bail while an arrest warrant was issued for Bailey who did not make her appearance in court.
The cases will be called, again, on January 24.
