‘THE RAGING SEA’

These photos, taken two days ago, show the ferocity of wave action on the sea defence as ocean levels slowly climb because of warming of the globe. Award winning British photographer  Ian Brierley captured the scene during a walk along the seawall near Turkeyen, East
Coast Demerara,  near to where multi-million-dollar works are ongoing to strengthen the sea defences.

Maybe this would be the mode of transportation of choice for people in a few years. Low carbon emissions to go please! By the time these children reach adulthood, will they be able to stand on this same spot? Or will the sea swallow it up completely?
