GRANTLEY Culbard has been unanimously reelected as president of the Guyana Darts Association at the association’s Annual  General Meeting held on Sunday at Malteenoes Sports Club  pavilion.
Culbard, who has been entrusted to lead the new executive for another two years, will have assistance from Raymond Williams who was elected vice-president of the association.
Ravi Budhu was elected General Secretary, Peter Baker treasurer, Angelique De Groot assistant secretary/treasurer while other committee members include Norman Madhoo, Anthony Bissoondyal, Wilfred Jagnarine and Bryan James.
Meanwhile, in an interview at the completion of the elections Culbard, who is currently serving in his 5th consecutive term at the helm of the association, said he anticipates a revival as they look to develop and implement new strategies.
Among key areas of focus are: developing a strong and progressive school’s programme, having better collaboration with the education and sport ministries and making efforts to decentralise the sport.
