IT will appear that certain elements are in conspiracy and evil and devious ones are trying to destroy the career of a brilliant man, public servant and career police officer, Assistant Commissioner, Commander Vyphuis, of ‘A’ Division.
Because an officer speaks to a known social miscreant, after a criminal altercation does not mean that the officer is condemning the government, president, or his commissioner. He may be giving a polite hearing for a second or two, but the depraved, malicious and conspiratorial, would use every and any method to stain and demean honourable people. Further, miscreants and criminals like to save their skin and bring down good people.
Mr. Vyphuis is always known to be giving a hearing to anyone, the large, popular and unpopular, small and even unrecognised, even the criminal. This is how Police work; they have to listen to all, even the deceitful. To associate a special relationship because another manipulator took a photo and post it on some internet media, does not mean it is true.
One of the worst things one can do is try to destroy the career of a professional person, and especially a career police officer, with baseless accusations, lies end definite jealousies. I have known Commander Vyphuis as a constable, since 1979 and early 80’s, and he has always been most professional, dynamic, fair and fearless. One of his keen attributes is his ability to listen to people, and even help when it is legal and necessary. Just because he listened to a miscreant, another one took the opportunity to try to destroy the gentlemen.
I just hope this malicious and despicable act does not affect the career of a great police officer.
Sadly, even in other government employment, private at times, there are so many conspiracies to bring down others in order to uplift self. I know of a situation whereby a senior regional functionary is in hot water for many wrongs, but to ‘put wool over the eyes,’ and mislead the inquiry against him; he is trying to create scenes to disaffect a deputy to him and destroy that gentleman’s life and maybe others.
That officer, wherever he goes, ferments trouble, and dismisses people to make it appear that he is the only good one. In crime detection, I was trained to study and investigate such a person, who likes to make everyone look incompetent and dishonest or weak or bad, in the attempt to glorify himself and secure his life.
I just cannot wonder why some people are so deceitful and manipulative, how can they watch themselves in the morning, or put food in their mouth. I recall once, while serving in honour, with utmost professionalism, there were several persons who served for over a decade who were so ripe with jealousies that they set out to damage my life and career. Instead, their wicked attempt made me the owner of this security service – largest, widest coverage and most dynamic in Guyana. The jealous and wicked ones had to watch that from nothing I started and built an empire, in service to man and God, and with several subsidiaries. You evil mongers, you send out evil and hence, you attract evil, discomfort, unhappiness and pain, such is the power of the universal laws of attraction, and power of conspiratorial negativistic thinking. Remember, the world is like a mirror, look at it smiling, and it will smile right back you.
Commander Vyphuis, you are a professional officer, continue to function with zeal and honour. Best wishes and prosperous New Year. My prayer for those embedded in deceit is that they mend their ways, wake up and smell the coffee: you are unhappy, bitter and accursed. May you see the light.
