FORMER Member of Parliament Mr. Heeralal Mohan of Lima Essequibo Region 2- has developed a ‘Bio Gas Digester’. Mr. Mohan who rears poultry and other animals said that such a system which can be implemented in the country areas and easily operated can subsidise the use of cooking gas for domestic purposes. Mr. Mohan has been inviting residents to observe the operation of this device.
Mr. Mohan who is also engaged in rice farming, said that many housewives can reduce their household budget since there is enough space in their homestead to install the mechanism. The former M.P is hoping to visit the Essequibo Technical Institute located at Anna Regina and to have an exhibition of his ‘Bio Gas System’.
