A post mortem examination performed on two-year-old Radian Wilson of West Berbice who perished after being forgotten in the back seat of a locked car on Monday has revealed that he died of a sun-stroke.
The autopsy was performed at the Berbice Regional Hospital yesterday by Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh.
Meanwhile, the female driver of the motor car who was invited to the Fort Wellington Police Station on the same day of the tragedy, is still in police custody and will remain there pending the advice of the Director of Public Prosecution, now that the cause of the child’s death has been ascertained.
Her motor car, bearing tinted windows and windscreen has also been impounded at the same station.
