‘Shark Eye’ committed for murder trial

MAGISTRATE Tejnarine Ramroop has committed Herman Ali alias ‘Shark Eye’, 62, to stand trial, for murder, at the next The Court found, on Wednesday, that a prima facie case had been made out against the accused for the unlawful killing of 47-year-old Rose Hall Town resident Roydel Sandy, between October 5 and 6, 2006, after a misunderstanding.
Police Inspector Satrohan Dayaram, who prosecuted the undefended prisoner during the preliminary inquiry (PI) into the charge, called 10 witnesses.
