POLICE in  Division ‘D’, West Demerara, are investigating the circumstances under which 29-year-old Rovin Maniram of Novelle Flanders, West Bank Demerara, sustained a gunshot injury in his groin. The incident occurred at about 02:00h  yesterday, a police release stated.
Maniram, who lives in a yard where there are two houses, and occupies the ground floor of the back house, was reportedly about to open his door when he saw a man who shot him and escaped.
He was admitted to the Georgetown Public Hospital where his condition is listed as serious.
