POLICE in Essequibo are investigating the murder of Nandranie Narine, 40, whose body was found lying in a pool of blood with wounds to the face and head, in her home about 16:00hrs on Friday last. She lived with her husband in an unfinished house and was last seen alive about 08:30hrs that day when he left for work.
Her son Talesh made the discovery when he went to visit her.
Two persons are in custody as her body awaits a post mortem.
