GUYANA finish without a win as New Zealand captured their fourth Commonwealth Games Sevens Rugby title.
Caribbean Champions Guyana ended their Games campaign on a winless note after loosing to Tonga 21 – 14 in the Bowl- quarter finals.
On the opening day of the tournament, the Guyanese lost their three group games to New Zealand, Canada and Scotland but played to their true potential against Tonga, but their best wasn’t good enough.
Meanwhile, New Zealand, ranked as the world’s number one rugby nation in both formats of the game (7’s and 15’s) added the 2010 Commonwealth Games Gold to those won in 1998, 2002 and 2006 after defeating Australia 24-17 in yesterday’s Gold Medal clash.
