Disappointed with attitude of CH&PA staff

Dear Editor, please permit me a small space in your letters’ column to air my views on a matter. I have applied to the CH&PA for a Low-Income houselot, to which I was assured that I would be allocated one last June. The girl that handled my case even told me of the sum of money that I would have to walk with. To my surprise, the “One Stop Shop” was held and I was not called or given a letter of attendance. When I called the CH&PA and spoke to the same young lady that had given me all assurance before, her response was “Miss X, all the lands are finished and you will have to wait”. When I asked her how long, she rudely replied “Look I don’t know, it’s up to Minister”, and hung up the phone. I tried many more times enquiring of when I will be allocated land, speaking to the same young lady, and I was almost always greeted with rude responses. I tried many times also to see the Minister on Public days on Wednesdays, and even though I would reach the latest 07:15am, the guards would always tell me that the numbers are finished. Mr. Minister, I am in desperate need of a houselot for many personal reasons and renting elsewhere will be difficult for same, please I beg of you, please look into this matter.
