MAGISTRATE Hazel Octave-Hamilton Monday refused bail for Vickram Persaud who appeared in court charged with attempted murder.
Persaud (no address given), was not required to plead to the charge which said, on August 2, armed with a gun, he robbed Treshan Haywood of a gold chain and band, valued $420,000, and then discharged a loaded firearm at him with intent to murder.
The matter will be called again on August 31.
