PRIOR to their Goodwill Tour to Suriname the Mayor’s All-Stars U-23 team will take on Alpha tonight at the Georgetown Football Club Ground, Bourda (GFC) in the first of a series of preparatory encounters leading up to their departure on August 3.
The team will take on Suriname’s national U-20 and U-23 teams over the duration of their four-day stay, August 3-7. On Friday will be the next local encounter against Camptown at the Camptown Ground from 16:30 h and Sunday morning at 07:00 h will be the final warm-up friendly match against the Western Tigers also at the GFC Ground, Bourda.
The team comprises Sherman David, Michael Henry, Gavin Wilson, Oswald Cornette, Ned Fraser, Dorville Stewart, Amos Ramsey, Dillon John, Solomon Austin, Sheldon Holder, Josh Komal, Shemroy Arthur (captain), Trevor Lewis, William Europe, Stellon David, Trevor Lythcott, Anthony Benfield, Lorenzo Duesbury, Mustapha Haqq, Leonard Adams, Kirk Warren, Bryan Robinson and Royston Burgess.
The team’s manager is Andre Daziell while Peter Lashley and Terrence Lewis will serve as the coach and trainer respectively.
