Dead ‘Six-Head’ brother suffered advanced stage TB

Autopsy finds…
POLICE reported yesterday that the autopsy performed on the body of Shawn Wilkinson, by Government Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh, found that he suffered from an advanced stage of tuberculosis (TB).
Wilkinson, of Lot 63 Hunter Street, Albouystown, Georgetown, was found on Sunday, July 18, outside his residence.

The 39-year-old father of one and eldest brother of former World Boxing Champion Andrew ‘Six Head’ Lewis, was lying on concrete, about 06:00 h, with blood oozing from his mouth and nose.
His mother, Louisa Wilkinson told the Guyana Chronicle that her son was with her on Saturday night. She made him dinner and, after a bath, he left, telling her he was going out.
However, she realised that he returned home sometime Sunday morning after he opened their gate and she heard him coughing.
He was barely alive on the ground inside their yard and breathed his last there but was transported to Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH) where his death was pronounced on arrival.
Wilkinson lived in a back cottage on the family property.
His only child, daughter Meyonka Wilkinson, 18, said her father, usually, took medication for his ailment and was said to be on the road to recovery but did not work due to his health condition.
