Traffic arrangements for visiting dignitary

THE Prime Minister of Kuwait, His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohamad Al-Ahamad Al-Sabah will tomorrow pay a State Visit to this country, and in order to ensure proper traffic control, the Guyana Police Force has had to restrict the flow of traffic in some areas.
According to a release from the Force, between 11:00h and 19:00h, no heavy-duty vehicle, including motor lorries and container vehicles,
will be permitted to travel between the junction of the Rupert Craig Highway and Sheriff Street, along Sheriff Street and Mandela Avenue, and along the East Bank Highway up to Timehri.
Additionally, the public is advised that there will also be some inconvenience to motorists within the city of Georgetown for short periods, to facilitate the smooth movement of the dignitaries.
