Minibus driver for January 2011 trial

Facing four charges…
THIRTY-TWO-YEAR-OLD minibus driver Nankumar Singh was before Magistrate Sherdel Isaacs-Marcus, at Vigilance Court, on Thursday, facing four charges.
One charge said on Friday July 2 on Annandale Public Road, also on East Coast Demerara, he drove BKK 6732 in a manner dangerous to the public.

The other allegations said, the same day, he used indecent language, neglected to stop when required to do so and failed to comply with directions given by a Police Constable.
Singh pleaded not guilty to all and was granted $20,000 bail on the dangerous driving charge and released on his own recognisance in respect of the others.
He will face trial on January 21, 2011.
