THE police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Tir Totaram, 45, of Grant 1805, Crabwood Creek, Corentyne. A police release said that around 05:45 h yesterday, Totaram’s body was found lying face downwards, impaled on a steel rod, protruding from a concrete drain under construction near his home.
The body was taken to the Skeldon Hospital mortuary where it is awaiting a post mortem examination.
