ANOTHER educational institution in Guyana will be offering courses through the London, England, based Institute of Commercial Management (ICM).
Starting next month, The Business School will teach Legal Studies, Tourism Studies and Journalism, among other subjects, Marketing Officer, Mr. Sean Embrack announced.
He said students will receive certificates at the end of every module in the course they are pursuing until completion of the certificate or diploma programme.
Embrack said The Business School is proud to be affiliated with ICM as it is a reputable organisation.
Institute of Private Enterprise Development is one of the first to join partnership with ICM and IPED Entrepreneurial Development Officer, Mrs. Carlotta Walcott said their association dates back to 2006.
She said: “The courses are affordable and you can pay as you complete each module in the programme. Students can also arrange payment plans if needed.”
Walcott assured that certificates or diplomas awarded through ICM are globally recognised.
School of the Nations is also associated with ICM, which is a registered educational charity based in Ringwood, England.
It was founded in 1979 and is the leading professional body for commercial and business development managers. It now has global operations in some 130 countries and at least 100,000 students study for ICM examinations every year.
