Two persons are in police custody following a cannabis sativa (marijuana) find after police searched a car on Saturday.
Police said at about 02:00 hrs, a mobile police patrol stopped and searched motor car PEE 3379 at Winifred Gaskin Road, McKenzie, and five 5 kilograms 200grams of compressed marijuana was found. A man and a woman have been arrested.

And in a separate incident, a woman was arrested after police found a quantity of cocaine in a towel she was carrying in a minibus on Saturday.
Reports say at about 09:00 hrs, police at Linden conducted a search on a mini-bus en route to Mahdia and found 43 grams of cocaine in the possession of a woman.
The woman is in police custody.
