WILLIAM Goodsaul (no address given) was yesterday remanded to prison on a simple larceny charge.
The 40-year-old appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson and pleaded not guilty to having, on May 16, stolen two plastic chairs and a flashlight, valued a total $5,700, property of Kalibur Investigative & Security Services, in Princes Street, Georgetown.
But a security guard, who was in Court, said she saw the defendant jump over a fence and steal the booty.
However, he dropped the chairs when she chased after him, the woman said.
Goodsaul will remain incarcerated through June 2.
Defendant denies larceny from security company
