Defendant denies larceny from security company

WILLIAM Goodsaul (no address given) was yesterday remanded to prison on a simple larceny charge.
The 40-year-old appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson and pleaded not guilty to having, on May 16,
stolen two plastic chairs and a flashlight, valued a total $5,700, property of Kalibur Investigative & Security Services, in Princes Street, Georgetown.
But a security guard, who was in Court, said she saw the defendant jump over a fence and steal the booty.
However, he dropped the chairs when she chased after him, the woman said.
Goodsaul will remain incarcerated through June 2.
