In the feature bout of the professional card, Troy Lewis and Iwan Azore will meet in a junior middleweight bout that is expected to be a steamy affair, as both pugilists look to walk away with bragging rights against each other.
On the amateur side of things, New Bauxite Bombers’ Troy Bailey will face Dexter Wray of Ricola Warriors in the junior flyweight division, followed by Laurel Stewart of Forgotten Youth Foundation going up against George Anthony of Port Kaituma Boxing gym in the same division.
In the junior welterweight division, Bert Braithwaite of the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will oppose Akeem Alexander of New Bauxite Bombers before GDF’s Devon Boatswain and Harpy Eagles’ Dexter Patterson culminate things on the amateur side of the card.
All bouts both on the amateur and professional card, will be a four rounds affair and even though National Communications Network (NCN) Channel 11 will be carrying a live broadcast of the night’s proceedings, boxing fans are still expected to swarm the arena with their presence.
