CHABIENAUTH Angnath called ‘Kurtan’, a father of three was found hanging from a piece of rope in his kitchen early Monday morning.
The 56-year-old labourer, of Sparta, on Essequibo Coast, had been suffering from a nerves problem and is suspected to have committed suicide.
His sister, Sarojanie (only name given) told the Guyana Chronicle that she  had gone to sympathise with some other relatives after a loved one had taken his own life when her brother’s body was discovered by his son about 10:30 h.
She said the double tragedy has left family members shocked and confused.
Angath has also left to mourn his wife, Haimawattie and Police are investigating the circumstance under which he died.
