Pathologist to testify today in the W.C.D. Murder trial

GOVERNMENT  Pathologist Dr. Nehaul Singh will testify this morning when the trial of Hafeez Khan, for the murder of his friend ’Pumpkin’, continues at the Demerara Assizes before Justice William Ramlal and a mixed jury.
The alleged killing took place on Sunday ,22nd February, 2004,
when the accused, in company with Anthony Waldron, called ‘Pumpkin’, and friends went to a house at 15 New Road, West Coast, Demerara.
Prosecutor Miss Prithima Kissoon had in her opening address told the jury about her intention to lead evidence to show that the accused stabbed his friend  ‘Pumpkin’ with a scissors in his neck, thereby causing his death.
Hafeez Khan, who has pleaded not guilty, is being defended by Attorney –at-law, Mr. Khemraj Ramjattan.
The hearing is continuing.
