ERIC Phillips in yesterday’s Kaieteur News once again proved his mettle for fiction and distortion when he accused me of being a pseudonym for Prem Misir. I would like to state clearly here that I am no name for anyone to hide behind because I am not afraid of expressing my views.
Further I would suggest that Mr. Phillips do not make accusations with mere flimsy evidence to support his claims, but rather his efforts would be better served in addressing the real issue at hand here; that of power sharing.
I have in previous letters addressed the issue of power sharing, which Dr. Misir has written extensively on, outlining the challenges that he had initially published that this form of governance can present if instituted. I would greatly appreciate it if Mr. Phillips would take time out of his ramblings on the veracity of my existence to address something that is worthy of discussion rather than dwell on who should or should not be acknowledged in passing.
Finally I am fully aware of the pieces that have been published under Prem Misir’s name on power sharing and nowhere in any of those pieces was there mention of “Trust as a basis for shared governance” other than what is implied in the missive, published in KN 25/04/10, and which I had referred to in my last letter KN 28/04/10. And which I state here again is still very curious that Mr. Phillips could have written on and been published, the very same day that Misir’s letter was published, in the very same newspaper. Is it coincidence or collusion?
