IT doesn’t come as a surprise about the not so nice report concerning the treatment that sometimes is meted out by our accomplished athletic ambassadors. I make reference to the captioned KN publication “Gold medalist Straker returns to low key welcome” and dated Sunday, April 11, 2010. My contention is that certain sports personalities will always be sidelined because of the lack of interest by the mass and this should never be a distraction with the focus of those athletes.
I say to those, continue with your aim and whatever minimum support comes along, be thankful and keep making yourselves proud along with the representation you make on behalf of the Golden Arrowhead.
Once again folks it was an impressive representation.

Yes, I am a huge fan of many sports and will continue with my quest with writings to highlight the talents that make representation, but I can’t make a promise to always be available in doing so. It would be fair reading to have others join and pen their contributions.
