AN EARLY morning accident yesterday at Diamond, East Bank Demerara, reportedly left 56-year-old villager, Cheryl Rodney dead and two others injured.
The driver of the ill-fated vehicle, Mr. Marlon Murray, is reportedly in custody at the Providence Police Station.According to Sergeant Jai Persaud, officer-in-charge at the Golden Grove Police Station,  the accident occurred at approximately 06:00h.
Reports are that Murray was speeding when he crashed into a culvert near the Diamond Secondary School. (VN)
