Smaller trials continuing in Ogle murder case

At Demerara Assizes…
THE series of voir dire (trial within a trial) in the Ogle murder case at the Demerara Assizes continued yesterday and will resume today.
Justice Brassington Reynolds is conducting the smaller trials to also determine the admissibility of alleged caution statements attributed to the four accused.

Seventeen-year-olds Christopher Dhanraj also known as Paul Jagnandan, Azim Khan, Vijay Rajkumar called Eon and Kumar Seeraj nicknamed ‘Boysie’ are indicted for the unlawful killing of Teddy Smith, at Ogle, East Coast Demerara, on October 24, 2004.
