The police in ‘G’ Division conducted raids in the Riverstown, Cullen and Johanna Ceceila villages last weekend.
Reports said narcotics and a smoking utensil were discovered in a house at Riverstown.
The police, in their continued efforts to clamp down on the prevalent breaking and entering of homes and business houses on the Essequibo Coast have made tremendous success in that area over the past weeks.
During the police raid, six persons were arrested and are being questioned.
