The Twenty-Fifth Meeting of the Community Council of Ministers of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) takes place in Georgetown today.
The Community Council, CARICOM’s second highest decision-making organ, consists of the Ministers responsible for CARICOM Affairs in the 15 Member States.
At today’s meeting at the CARICOM Secretariat Headquarters, the Council will be finalising the agenda and looking at the arrangements for the 21st Inter-sessional Meeting of the Conference of Heads of Government of CARICOM which will take place in Dominica on 11-12 March, 2010.
Decision and recommendations from recent meetings of the Council for Human and Social Development (COHSOD) and the Council for Trade and Economic Development (COTED) will also be considered by the Community Council. (CARICOM Secretariat)
