TWO music vendors appeared in Court yesterday, charged with creating noise nuisance.
Romel Johnson, 33, of Lot XXI North East La Penitence and 42-year-old Nigel Hall (no address given) pleaded not guilty before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson.
Johnson is alleged to have committed the offence on January 13, by playing loud and continuous music on the roadways.
He protested that his appliance was not being operated when Police stopped him and he was put on $10,000 bail until February 18.
Hall also denied doing similarly on the same day and claimed that he was arrested as soon as he emerged from his house, by Police who told him they were carrying out a campaign.
After he said he has to play music for it to sell and the business is his daily livelihood, he was placed on a bond to keep the peace for one year.
