Son of unsound mind on exposing, abuse charges

CHRISTOPHER Friday, 41, of Lot 3412 Stevedore Housing Scheme, in Georgetown, was yesterday refused bail on charges of exposing his private parts and using abusive language to his mother.

He pleaded not guilty to the offence before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson and was remanded to prison through February 10.

The allegations against him are that, on January 9, within public view, he exposed his buttocks and made use of abusive language to Melinda Cameron.

The virtual complainant said her son is of unsound mind and threatened to kill her plants that she sells for a living.

But, when she rebuked him, he dropped his pants and showed her his buttocks.

Friday claimed he pays the rates and taxes for the building and his mother and sister do not want him to do anything to the house.

He added that his sister is fighting him for the property that now belongs to all the siblings. (Nathalene DeFreitas)
