ANSA McAL Trading Limited presented Cheekies hampers to mothers who delivered babies on New Year’s Day at Georgetown Public Hospital (GPH), Woodlands Hospital and Prasad’s Hospital.

This New Year’s Day, seven hampers were given, along with Cheekies gifts, to every mother in the maternity wards of the hospitals visited.

At the GPH, the first baby was born to Dewon Mingo, 17, of Hyde Park, Timehri at 01:49 h, then Tabia Jardine, 27, of West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, gave birth to a boy at 02:45 h. Sherry Ann Henry and Onica Andrews also gave birth to a boy and a girl at the GPH.

Prasad’s Hospital had a lone New Year’s Day boy, born to Sharda Prashad, 27, of Eccles, East Bank Demerara.

Meanwhile, at Woodlands Hospital, 35- year- old Adulli Bascom of D’Urban Street, Wortmanville, gave birth to a girl, and Petra Gonsalves of Farm, Mahaicony, West Coast Berbice, also gave birth to a girl.
