Rampaul Paul, 35, a forklift operator employed at John Fernandes Limited, was reportedly electrocuted on Sunday, a short distance from his home, while making an illegal connection.

The man’s body was found near a trench at Diamond Housing Scheme, Squatting Area, Sea Dam, East Bank Demerara.

He had left home to go fetch water about 10:00 h on Sunday.

Paul is the latest of four persons electrocuted while tampering with the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) live wires.
A cow was also electrocuted some time ago.
