Bent and Hardina Street robbery…
Meanwhile, the police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at about 18:30h on Thursday at the Hooters Bar at Hardina and Bent Streets, Georgetown.

It was reported that the proprietor, Basil Joseph, and a relative, Clifford James, were on the premises when two men, armed with handguns, entered and held them up.

The men, who relieved them of an undisclosed sum of money and jewellery and a cellular phone, discharged several rounds into the air as they made good their escape.
The Police have recovered a .32 spent shell was recovered at the scene.
