Police also said that about 11:00 hrs on Tuesday, ranks conducted a search on a female Guyanese passenger of a bus at the Lethem Multi-purpose Centre and ten packets of cocaine with a total weight of 1kg, 10 grams were found concealed in a wig that she was wearing at the time. She has been arrested and is in police custody assisting with the investigations.
The Police further reported that, at about 07:00 h yesterday, a foetus was found in a drain at Church Street, Georgetown. Investigations by the police are in progress.
