AN East Ruimveldt, Georgetown resident on Monday appeared before Magistrate Priya Beharry, charged with indecently assaulting his cousin.

The defendant, a horse cart operator, pleaded not guilty to the charge which said, on August 8, he indecently assaulted the 32-year-old female.

Reports are that the defendant and his cousin had an argument during which he held on to her private parts.

He will remain in jail until August 14.
