CARICOM Development Fund unveils winning logo design

The winning design for the CARICOM Development Fund (CDF) Logo Competition was unveiled during a presentation ceremony at the CDF’s Barbados Headquarters on Friday last.

The winner, Miguel Hastings, a Jamaican national residing in Miami, Florida in the United States, was presented with a cheque for US$3,000.00 by Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the CDF Ambassador Lorne McDonnough.

Over 60 entries were received for the logo competition and the CDF was heartened by the positive response from the public and the quality of the entries submitted. The Logo Competition was launched as part of the organisation’s promotional activities towards heightening understanding of the institution and its work.

The CARICOM Development Fund, which was established under Article 158 of the Revised Treaty of Chaguaramas Establishing the Community including the CSME, will provide technical and financial assistance to those countries, regions and sectors so designated by the Community as “Disadvantaged Countries, Regions and Sectors”.
