In an effort to once more extend their services to the Guyanese people, the Guyana Watch Medical Team will be hosting its 17th Annual Medical Outreach Programme on Friday, July 24, through August 2, 2009.
Guyana Watch Incorporated is a medical educational, not for profit tax exempt organisation.
The team will consist of approximately 10 medical doctors in various fields of specialisation.
Also part of the team is a pediatric cardiologist, a dentist, a pharmacist and 17 overseas support staff.
The team, in a release, highlighted that their aim this year is to target well over 3,000 patients at seven clinics across Guyana.

Guyanese will also benefit from approximately US$350,000 in medical supplies as well as medical and health counselling from the team..
Over the years, Guyana Watch has rendered medical assistance to more than 45,000 persons throughout the length and breadth of Guyana through its medical outreach programmes.
The New York-based organisation has also assisted in the development of a 32 work station computer laboratory at the University of Guyana campus at Berbice.
Along with this, they have provided financial assistance for patients who required other overseas medical interventions.
