I refer to Pastor Daniel Singh’s letter in your issue of June 5, 2009.
Mr. Singh needs to know the difference between “wit”, “irony” and “sarcasm” and “comedy”. “Comedy” is something which stimulates hilarity and laughter because of what is queer, weird or ridiculous. The Bible School which Singh may have attended needs to teach English, Grammar and Composition since had he known the meaning, he would have been embarrassed to admit his writings are “comedic”.
Singh keeps talking of a London Times article and of his being disturbed by Evolution and Science. I read the article which carried no scientific refutation and it is obvious that the nuances of the article escaped Singh. Singh advisedly could drift back for a moment to his ancestral Hindu faith which treats evolution and science as a norm and does not in the least become het up or disturbed by such facets of truth. By so doing, he would enjoy peace and tranquility in the face of the bugbears of evolution and science.

The Hindu faith treats evolution as science as a norm
