ANOTHER taxi-driver has suffered at the hands of a passenger and is at present hospitalised with a gunshot wound.

Reports are that Fazil Alli, of Tuschen, East Bank Essequibo, was hired at about 20:45h. Saturday by a man to go to Tuschen where he was held at gunpoint and robbed of his jewellery.

During a struggle between Alli and the gunman rounds were discharged and one hit the driver in his left hand.
The robber subsequently escaped.
