The opening ceremony, under the theme ‘Consolidating our gains through reform, training, partnership and effective policing’. will take place at the Police Officers’ Mess Annexe, Eve Leary, Georgetown, starting at 09:00 h.

A public advisory said Young Street, between Camp and Parade Streets, will be closed to vehicular traffic to facilitate the three-day convention.

The closure will be from 07;00 h to approximately 21:00 h today and tomorrow and Saturday, from 07:00 h to approximately 14:00h and then again, from 18:00 h to approximately 24:00 h.
